Best Easter EVER!!

Easter weekend was quite eventful for the Robran family. We started out the weekend with Jarrod fishing with cousin Jesse, and ending up with the fish of a lifetime! A 30 inch, 11.5 pound walleye! Now Jarrod has the daunting task of finding a taxidermist and the type of mount. Oh the problems that come with catching trophy fish! Props go out to the guide, Jesse O, even though he wasn't controlling the boat at the time. But without him, I'd be fishless.

Leah's Fashion Show

It's been awhile since our last blog. We've pretty much been too busy and our internet was down for a week. Leah is becoming more and more independent, wanting to do everything by herself. She tells daddy "no" quite often and still very clingy to mommy. This past weekend she was in a Bloomingdales fashion show at the Mall of America accompanied by mom, grandma, and uncle Brandon.  Poor daddy had to miss it because of work. Luckily it's on video! With her new independence she was able to walk on the runaway all by herself. What a big girl! But of course when she was done, she ran right to mommy. She modeled white cargo capris, spaghetti strap tank, and a flowery spring coat. Leah ended up bringing the jacket home with us thanks to grandma!

Kim and Jarrod's Wild Cozumel Adventure

Here's a photo montage of our trip to Cozumel, Mexico. The weather was absolutely beautiful, the hospitality fantastic, and the water was neon blue. It just didn't get any better than that.

Potty Like a Rockstar

The struggles, the anticipation, the heartache...they'll soon be a thing of the past. A few weeks ago the whole Potty thing just took off. Leah now consistently pees in the potty but she still doesn't poop in the potty. Either way, dry diapers are cool! So our next hurdles are poop in the potty, and not going in the middle of the night and for naps. Naps are about 50/50, so we're making good progress.

The cold she had a couple weeks ago still remains- in her head. We ended up going to urgent care because she had an ear infection and the doctor gave us a choice; either give her some nasty syrup three times a day for a week or the shot. I knew which was more painless for me, and that was the shot. She didn't like it, but miraculously she was much better the next day. So since then the topic of conversation has been "Ears hurt..BEEEP!" "Doctor make Leah better". It's funny to hear her side of the story.
