The kids had a fun time trick or treating the streets of Le Sueur. It's weird to see how much Leah has changed and how her confidence has grown in the last year. She had no problem walking up to a strangers house to say trick or treat and didn't really need us by her side. How our little girl is growing! It was fun seeing her have fun. She told us while we were walking that "This is so fun!" Jackson did great just watching Leah do her thing while he sat in his stroller. He kept warm in his fun little "Abu" costume! As the kids were in their innocent Disney costumes, daddy sported a scary mask. Leah wasn't too sure about it at first but then it grew on her and she even wore it a few times. In addition to trick or treating, we went to my friends home the night before to check out their "Tunnel of Terror". Even Leah had the guts to walk through with mom and dad while Jax slept peacefully in the car with a babysitter. We told them to keep it mellow since their was kids going through and we thought that was freaky! As with anything, this holiday went too quickly and now onto the next one!

Kids Say the Darnedest Things
The other night when we completed saying our bedtime prayers we were talking with Leah about how praying makes Jesus happy. Then Leah asked if Jesus is wearing his pajamas. Kim replied "Yes, of course he is." Leah said "Jesus is going to go to sleep in my heart." Kim said, "Jesus is in everybody's heart." To which Leah responded "There must be a lot of Jesuses out there!"

WI Dells Getaway
We had a great time being in the Dells for a few nights. We just needed the time away and seemed like the perfect amount of time. We were a little worried about how Jackson would do but he was his usual happy, calm self the entire time! What a good boy! Leah did great too and was happy that Grandpa Tom and Grandma Vicki were with too. Too bad Grandpa Tom was sick a day but we still had fun- going to the deer park, swimming, campfires, watching daddy and mommy race go-karts, and going to the waterpark. Over all the activities we did, Leah's favorite seemed to be staying at the "little house". She told us that last day that she wanted to say goodbye to Shelby and Kacie (our dogs at home) then live in the "little house" forever. What a cutie!
Laundry Time
We thought it would be cute to take a picture of Jax in the laundry basket and big sister Leah had to too!
